Natalie
Punzel joined the team March 29th as a Marketing Automation Manager and
will support Business Operations by working with our marketing stakeholders
to deploy marketing campaigns for the U.S. & Canada and Research &
Development business units, as well as the Enterprise marketing team.
Natalie
brings 10+ years of marketing operations experience, most recently as a
marketing technology strategist at Accenture Interactive
Natalie
is based out of her home office in Verona, Wisconsin where she enjoys
spending time with her family as well as biking and canoeing.

Engagement: Focus on Unique Open Rates

Are
you monitoring your email metrics? One good measure of customer engagement
to track is Unique Open Rate (equal to the # of unique opens
/ # of total emails delivered)
A
few ways you can improve
your unique open rates are:
- Optimize your subject lines
- Personalization
- Use a recognizable sender name
- Improve your segmentation
- Perfect your timing

Know Which IQVIA Emails Are Targeting What Regions
|
|

Bookmark
and use the new regional view of IQVIA’s outreach calendar (Thanks to
Samir Taleb for the suggestion!). The calendar shows which emails are being
delivered to which region and by which marketer. Select the email
name to see more detail including target audience.
As
a reminder, global marketers or regional marketers targeting customers
outside their regions need to provide at least two weeks’ notice to
colleagues within the regions being targeted.

A Better Salesforce Experience for Marketing
|
|
|
|
Coming
soon to marketing users is the Marketing/Inside Sales Playbook which
will provide a more customized and improved Salesforce(CRM). The goal of
this initiative is to provide a more tailored end to end experience based
on role. Marketing users can look forward to functional and aesthetic
updates across key pages and analytics.
A
group of marketing users, nominated by marketing leadership, has identified
over 20 enhancements that are currently under development by the CRM team.
The release of the Playbook to Salesforce is targeted for May 15th.
Additional communication will be shared as we near the release date.
