Enable Better Sales Follow Up with Campaign Playbooks

A Campaign Playbook template is now available for marketers to utilize as a format for sharing marketing campaign details with our sales teams.  The completed template equips sales with the relevant information needed to more effectively follow up on MQLs.  Marketers are free to use the template as a guide and edit as needed to accommodate the specific details of your campaigns.

When your Campaign Playbook is complete:

  1. Upload it under the “Files” section of your Campaign in Salesforce (easy access for sales)
  2. Email Anna Bernal (Inside Sales) with the Playbook and campaign launch date

Easier A/B Testing for Outreach Requests

Following a recent update to the Marketing Automation Toolbox, you will now find the option to A/B test included on all Outreach Request Forms.  You no longer need to request an A/B test as a separate outreach.  Leveraging A/B testing across various elements of your email (e.g. Subject Line, CTA, Copy) can provide learnings that enable you to improve future campaigns results.

If you have any questions about A/B testing consult with your Marketing Automation campaign manager.

New Campaign Assignment Email Notification

Based on your survey feedback, we have recently implemented a new email notification which proactively alerts Marketers of campaign assignment so you will know which MA Campaign Manager is working on your Outreach Request.

As always, you can also see campaign assignment by finding your campaign on one of the campaign calendars on the Marketing Automation Toolbox and clicking on that campaign to see it’s details including the MA Owner.

Marketing Performance: 3 Ways to Benchmark

Marketing Benchmarks are a standard or point of reference against which you can compare and assess your level of performance. Benchmarking can provide you valuable insight and identify successes and opportunities for improvement. Here are three ways to Benchmark:

  1. Benchmark against yourself – Compare your performance from this time period to a previous time period - year over year, month over month, quarter over quarter. This is going to be your best apples to apples comparison and is extremely helpful in driving continuous improvement over time.

  1. Benchmark against other IQVIA Business Units – evaluate your KPIs vs. KPIs from other BUs to learn from their successes! This is a fuji apple to granny apple comparison but can still provide important ideas for you to leverage in your own campaigns. MA produces a IQVIA Benchmark report monthly, latest report here.

  1. Benchmark against the industry – use industry benchmarks where possible to compare your marketing performance vs other companies in similar industries. This is an apples to oranges comparison but can provide good directional information and help in setting goals. Note that good industry benchmarks are difficult to obtain and not always the best direct comparisons.
