Improved Parent Campaign Management Saves
Marketers Time
|
|
We’re happy to announce an updated
process and request forms for managing Parent Campaigns. This streamlined
process is designed to save Marketers time and ensure a smoother setup of
parent and child campaigns in Salesforce.
- You can now more easily
indicate if your request should be part of a Parent Campaign by
providing these details as part of your request submission.
- The Marketing Operations
Activation team will link child campaigns to their parent campaigns in
Salesforce during the creation process, eliminating the need for
marketers to handle this task.

We
hope this update makes your campaign management more efficient and
hassle-free. If you have any feedback on this updated process, please share
with Phil Cuff.

New Lead Source Values Now Available
As a result of the marketing attribution Kaizen event held
last year, new lead source values were introduced in Salesforce October 21
to better align with our marketing activities.
A group of marketers identified new lead sources that are
more descriptive, providing clearer insights into lead origins.
Additionally, we are simplifying the text by removing hyphens, making the
sources easier to use in reporting and integration.
These changes will improve data accuracy and consistency
across campaigns, helping us better track lead performance and optimize
marketing strategies.
You will see the new values when requesting campaign codes,
landing pages or external activity uploads. You can review the new lead
source values here.
