A Better Salesforce Experience for Marketing
|
|
|
|
|
Coming
soon to marketing users is the Marketing/Inside Sales Playbook
which will provide a more customized and improved Salesforce(CRM). The goal
of this initiative is to provide a more tailored end to end experience
based on role. Marketing users can look forward to functional and
aesthetic updates across key pages (e.g. Home, Campaign etc.) and
analytics.
A
group of marketing users, nominated by marketing leadership, is currently
working with the Lead and Opportunity Management(CRM) team to provide ideas
and requirements for development. The release of the Playbook to Salesforce
is targeted for May 15th.

Increase
Social Media Engagement
In
addition to content that is interesting and educational, right-sizing
your social media posts can increase customer
engagement. Clear and concise posts of ~100 characters are
considered a best practice for Twitter and LinkedIn and typically achieve
higher engagement with customers. In writing posts, also consider the
character limitations below:
Twitter
– 280 character limit per tweet – 13 characters for link
and space included.
LinkedIn
– 220 characters or 3 lines of text per post will display
before truncating and requiring the reader to click on “…see more” to view the
remainder of your post.

Is your marketing segment pulling in the
right contacts?
Take a look at your bullseye
segment and let us know if there are any particular mapped
functional areas, mapped levels, IQVIA segmentation categories,
companies or specific titles that you need to exclude from your
bullseye segment.
Cleaning up your segments will help
improve your email metrics over time.

Email Performance Spotlight
|
|

|
|
Real
World takes the spot for the top performing email campaign in January.
The SOMS (Sub-population Optimization and Modeling Solutions) LeadGen
campaign has brought in 28 MQLs. The campaign included an initial email
driving to a landing
page for a whitepaper and an MQL form. This was followed up a
couple of weeks later with an additional email driving to a new landing
page hosting a factsheet.
The
technique of including an MQL form alongside a
downloadable asset has proven quite successful.
Kudos to the Real World Marketing team! Keep up the good work!
