Organic Web Reporting Impacted by Cookie Banner Updates
|
|
Reporting
of web traffic has been impacted due to recent updates to the cookie
banners on iqvia.com. Recent reporting shows a drop in organic web
traffic by approximately 50% compared to June.
This does not
necessarily mean traffic has halved, but visitors who value
their data privacy, are increasingly opting-out of accepting cookies which
impacts the amount of data we are able to collect in our reporting.
The changes
included a requirement that visitors explicitly accept cookies before they
can be tracked and additional ways for users to reject cookies. These
updates improve the compliance of iqvia.com and align with global cookie
norms and legal counsel.

Another new Lean
Automation training is available for you!

Register for the Lean Automation Essentials
program, a brand new and more extensive Lean Automation training (vs. its eLearning). There is a session every month
for you to learn in more detail about this most recent process improvement
methodology at IQVIA. It is available to all employees and you have 2 weeks
to go through 3 hours of content, on your own pace. Don’t worry, it is not
dependent on your time zone. Here you can find out more about it!
