Enhancements – Marketing/Inside Sales Playbook (CRM)

 

The latest release of the Marketing/Inside Sales Playbook includes three substantial enhancements for users:

 

  1. A new My Campaigns component on the homepage displays all Active Campaigns where users are listed as the Marketing Lead
  2. An improved MQL Task component on the homepage has been overhauled to provide more information and an expanded filter capability
  3. You can now utilize the Intake App by selected 'New Intake RFP' or 'Intake RFP Opp Search' on Account/Contact/Opportunity pages

 

 

 

Email Metrics Impact of Apple Mail Privacy Protection

 

Apple released a new Mail Privacy Protection (MPP) policy in mid-September across their newest operating systems.  MPP is a new privacy protection for the Apple mail app that provides recipients the choice to share their email activity with senders.

 

When a user enables MPP, senders will be unable to discern whether a recipient opened an email or if the message was “opened” automatically by the Apple mail app. 

 

The expectation is that most or all emails to the Apple mail app (~20% of IQVIA recipients) will show as “opened”.

 

Metrics for email Open rates will become somewhat more unreliable and you should be cautious about comparing “before and after” metrics. 

 

 

 

We recommend increasing focus on engagement metrics like click-throughs, registrations and MQL conversions. The Marketing Automation Team will be monitoring the situation and provide further updates as warranted.
