The Future of
Analytics – Google Analytics 4 Update
|
|
|
Google
recently announced that the legacy version of Google Analytics that has
been used and widely adopted since 2012 will be deprecated in 2023 and
replaced with Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
In preparation Marketing Operations has
taken the following steps thus far:

- Set up a parallel Google Analytics 4
account
|
|
|
- Started gathering data and getting
familiar with the new interface & reports in GA4
|
|
|
- Created a map of IQVIA Universal
Analytics properties to the new IQVIA GA4 set up
|
|
|
- Using both GA accounts in parallel
during this transition year
|
We have already started to test and create
standard reports with GA4 to set IQVIA up for a seamless transition to
GA4. Look for additional updates as we get closer to the full
transition.
