A Better Salesforce Experience for Marketers – First Step
|
|
We
are pleased to announce the initial release of the Marketing/Inside
Sales Playbook for Salesforce(CRM) is Now Live as
part of IQVIA’s Lead to Cash initiative. This is a first step toward a
customized and improved Salesforce(CRM) for Marketers and Inside Sales.
The
enhancements in this initial release will provide users with functional and
aesthetic updates across key areas including:

- Home Page
- Reports & Dashboards
- Campaigns
- MQL tasks
For
a detailed view of the enhancements please go to the Feature Summary. Future releases
are in planning to provide additional enhancements later this year.
For
any Salesforce issues or questions please raise a General IQVIA CRM
Request
and
the CRM team will help as quickly as possible. This includes reactivating
accounts, new account requests and profile changes. Please request the Marketing
Profile to take advantage of the new Marketing/Inside Sales
Playbook.

If

Re-Activate Hard Bounce Backs
|
|

|
|
A
new enhancement now provides you the ability to re-activate a
contact or lead that is a ‘hard bounce back’ by correcting the email
address in Salesforce. Simply correct/update the email address in
Salesforce and the hard bounce back status in Eloqua and Salesforce will be
automatically cleared.
When
the email address is updated in Salesforce:
- Hard Bounce Back status resets to null
- Hard Bounce Back date is cleared
- Email status resets to ‘Pending’
The
record should be updated in Eloqua within a couple of hours. Once
Eloqua is updated, the contact/lead is re-activated and can be included in marketing campaigns sent
by Eloqua.

benchmarks against, or explore what subject lines have the best open rates.
As
a best practice download a copy on your local drive before making and
changes.
The
benchmark report is available after the 10th business day of every month on
the Marketing
and Communications Community SharePoint.
