Happy New Year!  Welcome to the first edition of our newsletter for 2021 for global and regional sales and marketing colleagues. We hope that you had a restful and enjoyable holiday period.

 

Following on from the positive feedback we received in 2020 when we launched the newsletter we will look to continue to use this medium for knowledge sharing, and bring you updates from the Marketing Automation team on a monthly basis.

New Marketing Automation Toolbox

 

The new Marketing Automation toolbox has now been live for almost a month and we hope you are finding it easy to use, the feedback has been very positive so far.

 

Based on your feedback, we made updates which include adding links to all of the updated regional and global dashboards and updating the help text on the forms.

 

As a reminder, when submitting a request please remember the following:

  • If you are from an RBU then please also submit the country after selecting the regional business unit
  • Campaign description shouldn’t be any longer than 25 characters and does not need to include the year (we add this automatically)
  • Reach out with any additional feedback

 

 

Best Practice - Plan Ahead and Submit Early

Submit your campaigns ahead of time for the upcoming month or quarter. This saves time, provides visibility in our new campaign calendar, and allows your fellow marketing colleagues to connect if they see an opportunity for collaboration!

 

Standard SLAs for sending a basic outreach campaign is 7 days from receipt of final and approved content. Planning with that timeline in mind will make sure all marketing campaigns get out the door smoothly and with minimal errors. We do understand sometimes quicker turnaround is required, but this should be an exception.

spacerIncrease Your Lead Generation

 

Is the goal of your campaign to generate leads? There are many different ways that you can collect leads. One way is to use MQL forms as a part of your email campaign. Just make sure to add the MQL form to your email request on the marketing automation toolbox

 

Last year only 46 campaigns had a specific MQL form created for it. Campaigns with MQL forms generated more opportunities for MQLs and the MA team saw an increase in MQL creation as MQL form adoption rose.
